The reason why China has fared so much better than India is because China, through the one child per couple policy, controlled its population size. Any country that has a boom of people such as Mexico and India is storing up great trouble: pestilence, unrest, disorder, unemployment, tension.
It ignores the fundamental truth that even though capital can flow around, people cannot really move. There will be a lot of unrest and forces that stop many of these nations from reaching the top of the table. For all of its conservatism and problems Europe will do well, particularly Germany. This article ignores issues such as culture which are much stronger issues than population growth and demand driven systems such as the UK. Germany and South Korea will remain very strong.
